When do you use which glue?

Transparent glue sticks

• Suitable for light and decorative applications

• Melts quickly and leaves a neat, almost invisible glue line

• Ideal for paper, textiles, foam, cork, cardboard and light plastics

• Recommended when the finish must be neat

Yellow glue sticks (amber)

• Stronger bond and longer processing time

• Suitable for heavier or more difficult to bond materials

• Works well on wood, leather, cardboard, MDF, ceramics and some plastics.

• Recommended when strength is more important than appearance

Short advice

• Use transparent for hobby projects, decorating light materials, boxes and packaging

• Use yellow for strong connections and difficult surfaces
